Raju Arjal is the new Indian chef at TemptAsian, the renowned rooftop restaurant at AX The Palace. Prior to coming to Malta has studied Hospitality Management and Food preparation in one of Nepal’s leading development Institute, obtaining a Grade A certificate.
With him, Chef Arjal brings to AX The Palace and in particular TemptAsian, a wealth of experience and a genuine passion to prepare and create what comes most natural to him – Indian cuisine. Chef Arjal, new Indian chef at TemptAsian, the renowned rooftop restaurant at The Palace has put together a new and exciting Indian menu with a range of Indian dishes, which offer pleasant alternatives to the usual Asian fare, every Wednesday night.

Interview with Chef Raju Arjal
1. How long have you been a chef?
I have been a chef for 10 years.
2. What encouraged you to come to Malta?
I think Malta is such a small but beautiful country. With its pleasant climate and friendly people.
3. How long have you been working at TemptAsian?
I have been working at the restaurant for four months.
4. What is your speciality?
Well I have many favourites, some of which are; Chicke Tika Masla, Lamb Rojonjost and Fish Coconut Curry.
5. Do you enjoy working at TemptAsian, at the Palace?
Yes, it is a nice environment, with friendly staff and I enjoy working in a five star hotel very much. It feels good to cooking something and provide customer satisfaction.
