TemptAsian has been a proud achiever at the Wines and Restaurants of Malta awards in 2014 and also 2015 picking up three prestigious recognitions. In 2014 it won the Blue Riband Award after placing amongst the first 30 restaurants in the Maltese Islands. It also won a silver spoon certificate in 2014 and another in 2015, an award won by outstanding restaurants that aim for, and achieve higher standards and consistency. Restaurants have to also prove that precision is apparent in their cooking, and attention is given to the selection of quality ingredient.
This Restaurant Guide, only shows those restaurants that have been directly surveyed and inspected by a professional survey team, and in addition have been rated at 8.5 points or more out of 10. The guide is then updated periodically in accordance with new or follow up inspections as and when carried out. During 2015 over 120 restaurants were inspected, surveyed and reviewed. TemptAsian satisfied exacting standards for cuisine quality and service and were awarded the WRMC Blue Riband Certificate or retention Blue Riband plaque, during the exclusive awards presentation dinner which was held at the Portomaso Suite, Hilton Malta, on the 25th of January, 2016.
Points are given for Ambiance; Decor; Cuisine Quality primary requirement; Preparation and Presentation; Service; Staff and Management attitude towards clients and overall demeanour; Value for money food; Wine List and mark-up.
